He is survived by: his parents, William Jerold Tear Sr. (Maggie) of Charlotte and Betty Darlene Derrow (Hamilton) of Roanoke, Virginia; his wife Stephanie Renee Baer of Hicksville, Ohio; his children, Tony Tear (Bailey) of Hicksville, Ohio, Kayli Legros (Jake) of Howard and Bailey Tear (Emily) of Perrysburg, Ohio; his grandchildren, Riley Tear, Hayes Tear, Evy Tear, Karson Legros, Parker Legros and Paityn Legros; his sisters, Robin Barrett (Ralph) of Roanoke and Sonia Orahood (Scott) of Andover, Ohio; and his mother-in-law Myrna Baer of Sunbury.

Memorial contributions can be directed to First Church of Christ Hicksville.
