He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, LeRoy J. Aten and Cleo M. Aten (Edson); his wife Nancy G. Carr of Hicksville; his children, Scott Aten (Sarah) of Spanaway, Mindy Aten (Steve Franz) of Hamilton and Joe Aten (Janelle) of Pasadena, Maryland; his grandchildren, Joshua Aten (Emma Kane), Liz Green (Indy), Tiffany Clines (Craig), Jake Aten and Connor Aten; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Ollie and Finn; and his sister Lois Caudill (Amos) of Kenton, Ohio..
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hicksville First Church of Christ (118 N Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be directed to the Hicksville First Church of Christ, CHP Home Care & Hospice, or to the Crippled Children & Adult Society.
