It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Polter of Hicksville, Ohio, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Polter and Wilimina Polter (Doctor); his wife Karen M. Coy; his son Steven Polter; his nephew Darrin Polter; and his sister-in-law Sharon Polter.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Roger Coy; his son Dennis Polter (Donna) of Sherwood, Ohio; his grandchildren, Stacy Polter of Napoleon, Sarah Frank (Mike) of Pemberville and Emily DeWitt (Ein) of Hicksville; his great grandchildren, Braylon Polter, Emma Polter, Cameron Frank, Cooper Frank, Jameson Smith, Cadan DeWitt, Walker DeWitt and Sadie DeWitt; and his siblings, Richard Polter (Carma) of Sherwood, Earl DeWayne Polter of Ney and Deb Leavell (Dave) of North Carolina.
