He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Max D. Peter and Barbara J. Peter (Koch); his wife Valerie Pocratsky of Hicksville; his children, Jeremy Peter (Bridget) of Florence, Natalie Captain (Matt) of Hicksville and Andrew Peter of Bryan, Ohio; his grandchildren, Danny Captain of Fort Wayne, Emily Eberheart (Tucker) of Fort Wayne, Ben Peter of Florence, Kentucky and Max Peter of Florence, Kentucky; his great grandchild Grayson Eberheart; and his brothers, Chad Peter (Tammy) of Defiance and Jeff Peter (Deb) of Hicksville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home (706 N Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
