With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol Holcomb of Helena, Ohio, born in Gibsonburg, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carol left this world on July 16, 2024 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond P. Kirwen and Hilda Kirwen (Dumminger); her husband Charles "Chuck" Holcomb Jr.; her siblings, Raymond "Bud" Kirwen (Bernadine), Donald Kirwen and Margaret "Peg" Wonderly (John); and her siblings-in-law, Marcella Kirwen, Earl "Bill" Brown and Robert Herman.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth (Patricia) of Sunnyvale, CA, Kathy Holcomb of Fremont, Jeffery (Cindy) of Gibsonburg and Jill Swanson of Brownsville, TX; her sisters, Mary Herman of Gibsonburg, Rita Brown of Gibsonburg and Nancy Kirwen of Erie, MI; and her friend Jane Karu. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Michael Catholic Church.
