He is survived by: his children, Ron Watson, Bill Watson (Arria) and Kellie Meade (Dennis); his former wife Sarah "Sally" Watson; and his siblings, Faye Angle, Anne Patterson, Judy Owens (Greg) and Don Watson (Barb). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
