He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Penick and Katherine Penick (McDowell); and his siblings, Henry and Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughters, Amanda Griffith (Jon) and Sarah Hawk (Dan); his granddaughters, Lindsey and Lauren; and his sister Vivian. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the Lakewood Athletic Boosters, Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
