It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawanda J. Francis of Hebron, Ohio, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Francis and Geneva M. Francis (Dewitt); and her siblings, Robert Hayden and Janice Howell. She is survived by: her husband Larry Engle; her children, Samantha Gummere (Jeff) and Shaun Hale (Felicia); her grandchildren, T. J. Compton (Danielle), Wesley LeFever (Phyllicia), Dakota Gummere, Jadalyn Roberts, Quintan Hale and Alexyss Hale; her brothers, Stephen E. Francis (Kim) and Bill T. Francis (Robin); and her pets, Taffy and Lucy. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
