He was predeceased by: his father Dale Ruff; and his grandparents, Earl and Virginia Ruff. He is survived by: his mother Joanie Hines (Bill); his daughter Addilyn Rae Ruff; his siblings, Doug Ruff (Taylor), Zack Ruff and Lia Hines; and his grandparents, John and Rita Knore. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
