He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Edgar Derr and Dorothy Ellen Shaeffer Derr; his sister Phyllis Wrae Derr Peters; and his niece Holly Ellen Peters. He is survived by: his nephew Steve Peters; and his nieces, Crystal Kirk and Vivian Henderson. He is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews and 7 great great nieces and nephews.
