He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Alkire and Celia S. Alkire (Eaton); and his brother Ricky Alkire. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Alkire (Williams); his children, Nicholas Hester, Katie Holcomb (Paul) and Amanda Hester (Daniel Woods); his grandchildren, Dakota, Kianna, Lily, Aniyah, Annalynn and Lucian; and his siblings, Kreig Alkire (Theresa), Darren and Jenny Wharton (Alvin).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vensil & Chute Funeral Home (1850 W Main St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
