He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Ambrus and Ruth Dyer; his spouse Debra Lanning Ambrus; his daughters, Becky (Preston Morehouse) and Carla Jeffrey (Ray Harvey); his siblings, Michael Ambrus, Daniel Ambrus, Kathleen Spring and Cathy Cartee; and his stepmother Jean Ambrus. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
