It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary M. Chrislip of Heath, Ohio, born in Folsom, West Virginia, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Bates and Beatrice Bates (Amos); her husband Kenneth Lynn Chrislip; her siblings, Nola Mae, Clara, Olive, William and Joseph "Doc"; and her sister-in-law Maxine Bates.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Lynn (Susan Lynn Chrislip) and Mike (Janice Chrislip); her brothers, Clarence Bates and Charles "Tex" Bates; her grandchildren, Jeremy Chrislip (Clancy), Bryan Chrislip (Laura), Shannon Knighton (Ryan), Morgan Chrislip (Jeremy Gordon) and Lindsey Fawcett (Dan); her great grandchildren, Sydney Williamson (Peyton), Meredith Chrislip, Macy Chrislip, Allie Chrislip, Madison Knighton, Raylin Knighton, Kylee Morgan, Aliza Morgan, Leila Morgan, Ben Fawcett and Jack Fawcett; her great great grandchild Ansleigh Williamson; and her sister-in-law Peg Bates. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
