She was predeceased by: her parents, John Whitt and Ruth Whitt (Neely); her siblings, Carolyn Hutchinson, Larry, Ruthann and Mark Whitt; and her former husband Jim Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Franks (George) of Heath and Debbie Dembecki (Charlie) of Newark; her grandchildren, Jessica Bentley (Tommy), Adrienne Moody (Delbert), Chuck Dembecki, Ashley Franks, Tony Dembecki, Stephine Franks, Haley, Jaden, Brooke, Kaleb, Gabrielle, Layla, Gavin, Jayce, Oscar, Franklin, Kyler, Felix and Hudson; her siblings, John Whitt (Sherri), Jimmy Whitt (Norma), Joyce Holbert and Steve Whitt; and her sister-in-law Nancy Whitt. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
