She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Fred and Maurine Denkewalter (Bowen); and her brother William F. Denkewalter. She is survived by: her daughter Murphy "Luci" Ritter Denkewalter-Burdick (Kyle Gisburne); and her siblings, Fred Denkewalter (Juanita), Jack Denkewalter and Lisa Fetter (Michael). She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
