She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Black and Jennie Black (Carlson); her husband Richard Reese; and her siblings, Charles Black, Bobby Black and Jean Black.

She is survived by: her children, Robb Reese, Gary Reese, Kathi Reese, Dave Reese and Karen Fridstrom (Adam); her grandchildren, Dustin, Derek, Brittany, Tiffany, Lauren, Zane, Maddie, Logan, Sierra, Jennifer, Josh, Andrew and Kaylee; her sister Dorothy Gemmell; and her friends, Debbie, Michelle, Cathy, Melissa and Amanda. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made in Joanne's name to Hospice of Central Ohio, or the Licking County Humane Society.
