He was predeceased by: his father Zeal B. Woods. He is survived by: his significant other Candy L. Brooks; his children, Mindy Williamson, Marshelia Brooks, Candice L. Woods and Jesse L. Woods, Jr.; his siblings, Debbie Allen (Jim), Teresa White (Chuck) and Dale Woods (Mickie); his grandchildren, Honesty, Chloe, Skylar, Sydnee, Ethan, Betsy, Dylan, Chandra and Kazden; and his pet Buckeye. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
