He is survived by: his parents, Penny Runyon Alford of Heath and Randy Gahegan of Hebron; his stepfather Harold Alford; his sons, David R. and Derick P. Runyons; his siblings, Marcus, Nicholas, Kyle Alford, Randy Gahegan, Randi Burchard and Amanda Gahegan; his grandson Hezikiah; his uncle David Runyon (Angie); his aunt Maggie Gordon (Gary); his grandfather Hershel Runyon; and also Aubriana Runyons. He is also survived by his family: which in addition to his mother and father.
