With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Marie Hughes of Heath, Ohio, born in Newark, Ohio, who passed away on September 26, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Dorman Ritchey; her husband Elmer L. Hughes; her brother Carl Ritchey (Joanne); and her brother-in-law Orville Kiger. She is survived by: her children, Terry Hughes (Jeanne), Doug Hughes (Sheila), Mike Hughes (Pam) of Heath, Karen Roffey (Drew) of Oklahoma and Kim Walter (Terry) of Newark; her sister Judy Kiger of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Trisha Hughes of Heath, Jeremy Hughes (Kelly) of North Carolina, Megan Hatanelas (John) of Columbus, Tony Roffey (Michelle) of Oklahoma, Clayton Roffey (Holly) of Oklahoma, Cameron Roffey of Oklahoma and Ryan Fairburn (Jonily) of Pataskala; and her great grandchildren, Jamilya Hughes, MaCallum, Cavin Hughes, Anden, Baylor Fairburn, Conner Roffey and Abby Roffey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
