He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Kahl and Susie M. Kahl (Whisler); his granddaughter Bond Kaylee Rogers; his siblings, Blair Kahl and Lela Hazen (Roger); and his siblings-in-law, Louella Tugend, Myrene Tugend and Richard Tugend.
He is survived by: his daughter Kim Rogers (Bill); his grandchildren, Dexter (Allison Gross), Adrianna and Jaxston; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Kahl. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Hayesville United Methodist Church, 44.
