He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Rice and Fern Rice (Rook); and his brother Forest "Sonny" Rice. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Weygandt; his children, Justine McCrae of East Peoria, IL, Jody Luikart of Huron, Julie Giebelhausen (Dave) of East Peoria, IL, Lori Laughery (Jay) of Ashland and Michael Rice (Melissa) of Jeromesville; his stepchildren, Jason Weygandt (Jackie) of West Salem and Laura Baxter (Steve) of Jeromesville; and his brother Stan Rice of Big Prairie. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
