She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin and Leota Rakes (Lucas); her husband Lester L. Shelton; her daughters, Fallie Shelton and Nineveh Theobald; her grandparents, Levi, Susan Rakes (Farley), Ralph and Emazetta Lucas (Nelson); and her siblings, Agnes Adkins (Allen), William Rakes, Robert Rakes (Lizzie), John Sherman Rakes (Perlina), Cinda Lambert (Ira), Russel Rakes (Helen), Elizabeth Fry (Floyd), Allen Rakes, Orla Rakes (Ruby), Stella Williams (Edgar), Walter Rakes (Elsie), Alfred Rakes (Dorothy) and Sarah Rakes.
She is survived by: her children, Magdalene Ramey (Terry) of Carlinville, IL, Seth Shelton (Barbara) of Shelby, NC, Isaac Shelton (Brenda) of Defiance, OH and Enoch Shelton (Theresa) of Van Wert, OH; her grandchildren, Vickie McCann (Sam) of Shipman, IL, Lester Shelton (Mandy) of Paulding, Isaac Shelton Jr. of Defiance, Angela Myers of Orange County, CA, Stacy Ramey of Chicago, IL, Stephanie Schweller of Paulding, Joshua Shelton (Heather) of Kings Mountain, NC, Chrystal Tingley (Daniel) of Woodburn, IN and Kacy McGough of Van Wert; and her stepgrandchildren, Debbie Bryant of Defiance, Gannon Bryant (Gina) of Defiance and Keith Bryant (Barbara) of Harrisburg, PA. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.
