He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Claypool and Grace T. Claypool (English); his wife Carolyn Shue; his son Brian Claypool; and his brother Richard Claypool (Connie).
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Rob" Claypool (Julie) of Bowling Green, OH and Michelle Murphy (Aaron) of Powell, OH; his grandchildren, Keely, Brady Murphy, Robert "Bo" and Andrew Claypool; his sister Trudy Nicholson (Allen); and his brother-in-law Larry Shue (Vickie) of Woodville, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
