He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Kay Knepper-Osuna; his wife Patsy Knepper (Gillespie); and his sister-in-law Debbie Rentmeester. He is survived by: his stepson Robert Knepper (Nadine Kary); his stepgrandchildren, Megan Osuna (Bryant Symanowski) and Ben Knepper; his former wife Donna Gerrits (Rentmeester); his stepdaughter Joy Vertz (Tim); his son Tyler Gerrits (Danyel Rallof); his grandchildren, Flynn, Sawyer Vertz, Quinn and Quaid Gerrits; his brother Tom Deck (Kathe); his nephews, Chris and Jason; his niece Heather Tobin (Andrew); his great-nephews, Reagan, Maverick Deck and Trent Tobin; his siblings, Gail Fannasy (Bill), Gary Sunderland (Virginia), Fannasy and Sunderland; his brothers-in-law, Tom Rentmeester and Pete Rentmeester (Cindy); his nieces and nephews, Pete Rentmeester (Michelle), Renee Justinger (Joel), Jennifer (Brian Ippel), Jake (Eddie Kakos) and Jared Rentmeester (Zoe); and his friend Mark Hearndon.
