He was predeceased by: his parents, Lesley Benjamin and Thelma Benjamin (Sexton); his wife Merry "Kathy" Benjamin; and his brother Kenneth Benjamin. He is survived by: his close friend Joyce Carden; his daughters, Lisa Schupska (Patrick), Lori Testa (Michael) and Marjorie Baker (Larry); his grandchildren, Kristen Schupska, Nathan Gray, Emily Testa, Stephanie Testa, Jacob Testa, Reilly Nicola, Brennan Nicola, Charles Nicola, Irelyn Carden, Isabella Carden, Alivia Carden, Michael Carden Jr., Myles Carden and Karlynn Baker; his brother Ray Benjamin (Carlos); and his sister-in-law Nancy Benjamin. He is also survived by 4 nieces.
