He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Wayne and Elma Ruth Petteys (Birch); his wife Helen Rebecca Wagner; his children, Becky Petteys (Michael Agostini) of Newton, MA, Heather Petteys (John Umbaugh) of Ann Arbor, MI and Jeff of Hartville, OH; his grandchildren, Max, Ollie and Violet Umbaugh; and his siblings, Kathleen Miller (Robert) of Carlisle, PA, Dennis Petteys of North Baltimore, OH, Marcia Humer and James. He was also cherished by 10 nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and nephews.
