He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Carl Griffith, Hobart Griffith, Mary White and Orie Deel. He is survived by: his daughters, Rhenna Hanna of Sebring and Peggy Shelton (Ken) of West Chester; his grandchildren, Randy Monroe, Madison Shelton and Kelsey Shelton; his siblings, Donald Monroe (Rhonda) and Linda Ferguson (Derill); and his siblings-in-law, Bobbie Lipscomb, Ann Triplett, Donna Griffith and Robert Edward Griffith (Marian).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marlboro Volunteer Fire Dept.
