He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Brinkley and Iva Brinkley (Carpenter); and his siblings, Mary Rohe, Barbara Brown, Judy Brinkley and Jack Brinkley.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Brinkley; his children, Laura Plymire (Devin), Blake and Benjamin; and his nephew Andy Brown.
