With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John McGuckin of Hartville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene McGuckin and Isabelle McGuckin (Maitland); and his sister Maureen Snider. He is survived by: his wife Karen McGuckin (Knight); his daughters, Jennifer Gordon (Don) and Rachel Ehret (Nathan); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Eli, Grace, Felicity, Lincoln, Ambrose, Augustine and Mary; and his siblings, Kathy West, James McGuckin (Ellie), Eileen Schmitt (Fred) and Kevin McGuckin (Monique).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evermore Community Church (1470 Smith Kramer St NE, Hartville, OH 44632). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
