He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Marvin Post and Geraldine Jennie Post (Goff); and his siblings, Clarence Post, Geraldine Smith, Ruth Gracyk and Ernestine Plant.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia A. Post of Hartford; his daughters, Jennie Evans (Brian) of Urbana, OH, Sarah Nicolli of Hartford and Rebecca Daley (Pete) of Kinsman; his brother James Post (Dorlene) of Gustavus; his grandchildren, Rachel, Nathanael, Emily, Daniel Evans, Todd, Justine, Tori Nicolli, Joshua Daley, Jake Daley (Paige), Jared Daley (Kat), Anthony and Jordan Hefner; and his great grandchildren, Briella Daley and Kaydence Daley.
Richard continued to give after his passing through organ and tissue donation through C.O.R.E.
