With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Duane Kostoff of Hartford, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2024 at the age of 79. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard Duane may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Kostoff (Bartolin) and Theodore Kostoff; his wife Marilyn; his children, Lisa Marie of Rockport, TX and Brian Douglas; and his grandchildren, Daphne Olivia, Peyton and Brayden.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lane Family Funeral Homes – Madasz Chapel (6923 Warren - Sharon Rd, Brookfield Township, OH 44403). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lane Funeral Homes (6923 Warren - Sharon Rd, Brookfield Township, OH 44403).
