He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven M. Berecek and Frances B. Berecek (Palakovic); and his brother-in-law Jerry Turner. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn R. Berecek (Kocis); his children, Pete Berecek (Tracy) of Brookfield, Dan Berecek (Dori) of Vienna, Patty Scharba of Brookfield and Tammy McCarthy of Erie, Pennsylvania; and his brother Steve Berecek (Paulette) of Garrettsville. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.
