He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard W. Risner and Barbara J. Hale Risner; his siblings, Joshua Risner of Delphos and Jade Keith (Jerry) of Alger; his nephews, Keegan Keith of Alger, Kolton Keith of Alger and Karsen Keith of Alger; his niece Laina Risner of Delphos; and his fiancée Katie Tanguay.
