With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doug Whitaker of Harrod, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on February 14, 2024 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Glen, Pauline Spencer and Mallie Dearth; his stepfather Earl Webb; his uncle Ed Spencer; his nephew Nate Whitaker; and his father-in-law Kenneth Bland.
He is survived by: his mother Sandra Webb (Spencer) of Harrod; his children, Ryan Whitaker of Harrod, Elizabeth Tackett of Harrod, Preston Stripe of Bellefontaine, Abigail Whitaker of Jacksonville, NC and Cassie Whitaker of Harrod; his grandchildren, Leland, Savannah, Paisley, Kensleigh, Ellie and Scarlett; his brother Steve Whitaker (Sherri) of Lima; and his mother-in-law Joyce Bland.
