She was predeceased by: her son Curt Murphy; her grandson Joshua Murphy; and her siblings, Homer Brooks, Oakley Brooks, Silas Brooks, Odella Mason-Fuson and Maggie Janeway.

She is survived by: her spouse Billy Joe Murphy; her daughter Glada Partin (Terry) of Ada; and her sister Eula Mason (Otis) of DuPont. She is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
