She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Perry C. Dirmeyer and Kate M. Dirmeyer (Keefer); her husband Herbert L. McElwain; her children, Doug McElwain (Diane) of Goldsboro, NC, Dave McElwain (Michelle) of Lima, Dana Jones (Randy) of Harrod and Donna Wauben of Elida; her grandchildren, Trevor Jones (Keri), Troy Jones (Sara), Travis Jones (Leslie), Brad Wauben (Mandy), Matt Wauben (Gina), Stefanie Lewis (Schuyler) and Daniel McElwain; her great grandchildren, Caden, Addison, Deacon, Delaney, Olivia, Bryson, Rilynn, Keagan, Declan Jones, Charlotte, Oakley Wauben, Jacob and Jonah Lewis; her brothers, Robert P. Dirmeyer (Bette) and Norman C. Dirmeyer; and her son-in-law Randy Wauben.
