It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill L. Basil of Harrod, Ohio, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd A. Basil and Pauline Basil (Maus); his wife Rosalie Basil (Stemen); his son Richard Basil; and his brother-in-law Walt Reynolds.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Basil (Delaree) of Harrod, OH, Bryan Basil (Lisa Binkley) of Harrod, OH and Brenda Reichenbach (Daren) of Harrod, OH; his grandchildren, Justin Basil, Darrick Basil (Mickie), Danielle Basil, Angie Titus (Anthony), Dylan Basil, Ethan Reichenbach and Morgan Reichenbach; and his sister Joan Reynolds of Lawrenceville, GA.. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services - Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801).
