Mary Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Smith of Harrisville, Ohio, who passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Briggs and Freda Mae Defibaugh Briggs; her husband Richard Smith; her daughter Brenda Sue Matthews; and her siblings, William, Ken Briggs and Eloise Cundiff.

She is survived by: her children, Harry "Buzz" Smith (Lisa) of Florida, William "Rick" Smith (Sandy) of Tiltonsville, George Smith (Anita) of Harrisville, Brad Smith (Patty) of Radnor, OH and Cathy Robinson (Gary) of Cadiz; and her grandchildren, Jeannine Robinson, Heather Smith, Chad Smith (Amy), Kelly Tonkovich (Jamie), Todd Smith (Angela), Cody Smith (Faren), Kerri Smith, Erika Smith and Butch Matthews (Tresa). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services will be private with Rev. Barry Hall officiating.
