He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Sargent and Emily Sargent; and his siblings, Delphia Coffey (Lloyd), Dillard (Gladys), Bobby and Billy Ray Sargent.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Sargent (Perry); his daughters, Carol Draper (Mike) and Brenda Neyer (Bill); his grandchildren, Scott Draper (Anyssa), Alisha Draper, Billy Neyer, Jacob Neyer and Hannah Johnson (Deven); his great grandchildren, Tucker, Magnolia Johnson, Logan, Blake and Kyla; his siblings, Dorthene Jones (Gene) and Charlene Meadows (Calvin); and his sister-in-law Della Loudermilk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
