She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Thomas and Jean Thomas. She is survived by: her siblings, Karen Stevenson (Randy), Edward Thomas (Karen) and James "Jim" Thomas; her nephews, Scott Thomas (Shannon), Matthew Thomas and Michael Thomas; her great-nieces, Maddox, Palmer and Larkin Thomas; and her sister-in-law Julie Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, Vera had requested that memorials be made in her memory to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
