He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nusekabel and Ruth Nusekabel. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Nusekabel; his children, Connie Chase (Mark), Amy Luipold (Bill), Doug Nusekabel (Nikki Peace) and Becky Grandstaff (Todd); his grandchildren, Matthew McFadden (Brittney), Kelli McFadden, Brittany Luipold, Brandon Luipold, Ashley Nusekabel (Jake Taft), Jared Nusekabel, Samantha Grandstaff, Alexandra Grandstaff, Brad Chase and Lyndsey Chase; his great grandchildren, Madison, Karsyn, Brody McFadden, Isaiah Taft and Camdyn Troxell; his brother Daniel Nusekabel (Patricia); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Leisgang (Gail) and Shirley Reuter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or the Harrison Fire Department.
