He was predeceased by: his son Mike Mangan (Cherie); his grandchild Nic Kemen (Katie); and his brother-in-law Vito Rossi. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Caster (Nee Rossi); his children, Mark Caster (Carolyn), Marcia Kemen (Tom) and Julie Memke (Dave); his grandchildren, Ross, Michelle Caster, Melissa Grzebyk, Tim, Katie, Aaron, Hannah Caster, Terri, Chris Mangan, Elana and Olivia Memke; and his cousins, Dr. Chuck Caldwell (Elaine) and Dr. Carole Zawicki.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN. 38105.
