He is survived by: his wife Tammi Merk (Blersch); his children, Jordan Merk, Jasmine Gold (Josh) and Marshall Merk (Madison); his grandchildren, Lilly, Caleb, Cameron and Tanner; his siblings, Sparky Merk (Sally), Joe Merk (Shelagh), John Merk (Teresa), Tom Merk (Amy), Bill Merk (Nancy), Lenora DeMarco (Gerry), Rick Merk (Lynne), Perry Merk (Donna), Ed Merk (Amy), Louise Raines (Richard), Andrea McAllister (Rich) and Tim Merk (Jen); and his in-laws, Sandra Busch (Ken), Todd Blersch (Tania), Terri Murray (Boone) and Traci Amend (Tim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church (10010 Carolina Trace Rd, Harrison, OH 45030). Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the The Blue Note (9660 Dry Fork Rd, Harrison, OH 45030). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
