He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Schlager and Elizabeth Schlager (Remmel); his siblings, Jack Schlager and Mary Rohrscheib; his stepdaughter Connie Harper (Gaiser); and his stepson-in-law Billy Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Schlager (Hochscheid) of Harrison, Ohio.; his stepson-in-law Todd Rivera of Harrison; his brother Fred Schlager (Joyce); and his sister-in-law Barb Schlager. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
