He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Monroe and Leora Monroe; his wife Joyce Monroe; and his brother Jerald Monroe. He is survived by: his sons, Kipp Monroe (Kathy) and Joel Monroe (Rachel); his grandchildren, Emma, Audrey, Danny and Ben Monroe; and his brother Reginald Monroe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
