She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Fields and Mabel Fields (Bowling); her husband Ezra Walker; her siblings, Joe Fields and Pam Gabbard; and her son David Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Tamera Heinrich, Elizabeth Davis, Richard Walker and Sondra "Cookie" Crawford; and her siblings, Oscar Fields, Jr., Garland Fields, Betty Chaney, Patty Featherby and Donna Fields. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
