He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mendell; his daughter Elisabeth "Beth" Snape; his grandchildren, T. J. Snape (Amber Tucker) and Michael Snape; and his sister-in-law Meridel Eckel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews.
