He was predeceased by: his parents, Justine Hey and Carl A. Hey; his sister Phyllis Thiem (Joseph); and his brother-in-law Kenneth J. Schneider (Janet). He is survived by: his wife Myra Hey; his children, Regina Levy (John), James Hey (Beth), Kelly Fury (Andrew) and Carla Hey; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew (Tamber), James Levy, Maggie James (Kurt), Jacob Hey, Olivia Ballard (Blake), Kyle Fury (Hannah), Ryan Fury (Abby) and Adam Levy; his great grandchildren, Maci, Riley James and Grayson Fury; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Harris (James) and Linda Beck (Joseph). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Glen Haven Cemetery (10300 New Biddinger Rd, Harrison, OH 45030).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Children's Hospital Heart Unit, honoring Jim's compassionate spirit and dedication to serving others.
