He was predeceased by: his parents, George Betscher and Margaret Betscher; and his grandchildren, Lucas, Josie and Will Peak.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Betscher; his children, Terri Huber (Dan), Beth Hey (Jim), Andrew Betscher (Megan), Molly Betscher (Duane) and Becky Munoz (Carlos); his grandchildren, Katie Wuestefeld (Mike), Lori Meierdiercks (Alex), Jason Huber (Samantha), Maggie James (Kurt), Jacob Hey, Olivia Hey, Lillian, Mae Betscher, Max and Maya Munoz; and his sisters, Judy Schneider (Al) and Mary Booker. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Queen City Hospice or St. John the Baptist Catholic Church through the funeral home.
