With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Pennington of Harrison, Ohio, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene Pennington to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Pennington and Zola Pennington (Feltner); his sister Donna Hoffman; and his grandson Gerrit McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Della Pennington; his sons, Russell Pennington (Deborah) and Scott Pennington (Trish); his grandchildren, Chelsea Gonzalez (Cesar), Alexandra Billingsley and Courtney Pennington (Cassandra); and his great grandchildren, Tristan, Donovan and Dillon.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackman Hensley Funeral Home (215 E Broadway St, Harrison, OH 45030). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Glen Haven Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Gene's memory to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research in care of the funeral home.
